Residents
The organisers of the 2024 Legend Fires North West Stages are extremely grateful for the support of the residents who are affected by the road closures necessary to enable the rally to take place. This includes those who live or work on the actual competitive sections (the special stages) and those who live on roads adjacent to the special stages where it is necessary to restrict access for the general public.
All residents on the special stages will receive the first initial contact from the organising team in the form of a letter. This includes a questionnaire, which can be completed on-line or as a paper form, to record your details and any feedback / comments you may have. All residents will be receiving a personal visit in late 2023 / early 2024, however, if in the meantime you would like to speak to or email a member of the team or request a visit, then please find contact details below.
Before the rally all residents will receive a Resident Pack, which will include contact details for the Rally Control and their Resident Liaison Officer, an event overview, full details of access times, the procedure for accessing your property / business during the period that the road is closed and a comprehensive Q&A section.
The event is expected to receive entries from drivers and cars from across the UK and there will be substantial interest from motorsport enthusiasts. Consequently, in order to minimise disruption, the organisers are planning several spectator areas to allow the rally to be enjoyed in safety.
The organisers aim to raise a substantial amount of money for local charities, and we sincerely hope that you will be able to enjoy the spectacle of closed road rallying without too much inconvenience.
Please feel free to contact the organisers if you have any questions
